We have made some changes to the Tramper as part of our continuous development programme, so the new Tramper MKII S is much more comfortable, with coil-over shock absorbers which will also enhance the off-road capability. This will now allow the suspension to be tuned to the user’s weight. The Tramper’s renowned light steering has been improved to provide even more accuracy, which will prevent kick-back. In other areas the handlebars and optional bull bars are now made from stainless steel to add to the longer life of your Tramper.
The Tramper mobility scooter was designed as an all-terrain and street scooter.
But a scooter that REALLY WAS all-terrain, with the ability to go wherever you want it to go. Very happy out in the country, going over hill and dale, or just shopping and going to the pub.
The Tramper is UK designed and custom built by an independent family-owned business in Wiltshire, and most of the parts are made by us or UK suppliers. Established in 1998 we are just going into 25years. Well over 2500 are in use around the world, each with custom options to suit YOUR disability. Even the original 5 are still going strong after 25 years, since reliability and ruggedness are built in to every Tramper.
Tramper users say they are extremely easy to drive and comfortable even over rough ground. You will also be eco-friendly as they emit zero emissions. Trampers cost only pence to charge so no need to worry about the higher energy rates. Our customers find this economy very pleasing.
There are 3 and 4 wheeled versions of Tramper, both being very stable. One of the 3 wheel (TWS) owners described it as “The adventurous disabled’s ideal solution”.
